Jaydev Mody

Chairman, Delta Corp

Jaydev Mukund Mody took over the reigns of the FC Goa franchise from previous owners Dattaraj Salgaocar and Shrinivas Dempo ahead of the 2016 season of the Hero Indian Super League.

Mody is the chairman of the Delta Corp, a company that runs the Deltin line of casinos in the state of Goa and various hotels under the same branding. Mody is a businessman and an entrepreneur and at the moment, he could be called India’s foremost gambling evangelist.

As co-owner of FC Goa, Mody wants to get involved in the development of the sport in the country. A passionate sports enthusiast, he is an avid promoter of horse racing.

Additionally, he owns more than 70 colts for this purpose. With FC Goa, Mody wants to build a legacy for football in the state so as to make it a true footballing hub.

Venugopal Dhoot


A graduate in Economics,Mr. Venugopal N. Dhoot is the Chairman & Managing Director of Videocon Industries Limited.

Mr. Dhoot is the past Chairman of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and industry of India, President of the Electronic Industries Association of Marathwada, a member of the Advisory Committee of Poona University Information Employment & Guidance, past Chairman of the Federation of the Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry- (Consumer Goods Committee) and an advisor to the Government of Orissa for the industrial development of Orissa.

Mr. Venugopal N. Dhoot was awarded the Marathwada Bhushan Award on 2nd April, 2005 and was chosen for the honour for his outstanding initiatives to make India self reliant in hardware and consumer electronics and also was awarded the Elcina Electronics Man of the Year 2005-06.

Mr. Dhoot’s interests include flute recital and discourse on Bhagwat-Gita.
